• The fiber composite also removes skin flakes and keratosis from skin surrounding the wound
• Significantly reduced pain debridement
Grip Pocket Design • Easy and safe to use

Indications:
Diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers, postoperative wounds healing by secondary intention, traumatic and surgical wounds (abrasions, incisions, lacerations), 1st to 3rd degree burns and scalds, lymphoedema

FAQ

Q1. When should the debridement stop?
A1. Debridement is typically continued until the wound surface is thoroughly clean and exhibits a pink-red, granular appearance.

Q2. How to accurately estimate the amount of normal saline (NS)/ irrigation solution for pre-hydration of Debrisoft® Pad?
A2. Debrisoft® Pad should be thoroughly moistened but not dripping wet - 20-40ml of liquid for the Debrisoft® Pad will be sufficient for most applications. **Do not wring Debrisoft® Pad** (Suggestion: roughly add the amount of solution that can fill the packaging)

Q3. Does Debrisoft® Pad contain any allergenic substances / irritants / sensitizers?
A3. No. Debrisoft® Pad is hypoallergenic, i.e. it contains no known allergen such as colophony or its derivatives.

Q4. Can individual fibers come loose from Debrisoft® Pad?
A4. Debrisoft® Pad has been specifically designed in such a manner that no fibers can become detached from the composite material under ordinary circumstances. This is ensured by the knitted reverse side, which retains the fibers and the polyacrylate coating (needle-bonded technology) and holds the fibers firmly in place, providing stability to the Debrisoft® Pad.

Q5. How to deal with thick, hard eschar or thick, tenacious slough / biofilm?
A5. This may require softening first by strong irrigation solution / autolytic debridement before the use of Debrisoft® Pad.

Q6. Will the debris and keratoses return to the wound bed from the fiber?
A6. No. The fibre composite absorbs and retains the loosened debris and keratoses, preventing them from returning to the wound bed.
